Description
The three Leonor Townhouse Apartments are all basically the same but with different furnishings. They can be rented separately or in combination. All three apartments are well furnished and equipped and all have views that are really stunning.
The lounge/dining room has a dining table and chairs along with comfy chairs,
sofa and coffee table.
There are two big, floor to ceiling, windows with fantastic views of the nearby medieval townwalls and on to open countryside.
All bedrooms are doubles with plenty of storage space.

Location
The apartments are just below the town walls and within a 50 yard walk of a pedestrian gate straight into the town. The Real D'Obidos hotel is next door with several nice restaurants and bars within five minutes walk. The main street in Obidos is about 100 metres up the hill and there are many lovely little shops and many more restaurants, cafes and bars. The walls around Obidos are stunning as is the castle.
There is a very good supermarket about ten minutes drive away with more extensive shopping available in Caldas da Rainha.

Visit historical Alcobaca, Batalha, Evora, Fatima, Mafra, Obidos, Sintra and Lisbon.
Shopping expeditions to sophisticated Lisbon, Cascais and Estoril.
Sample delicious drink and food – superb local wines, sea food and traditional Portuguese cooking.
Walks along vast beaches and cliffs overlooking the Atlantic.
The nearest beach is about fifteen minutes drive away at Praia Bom Sucesso, which is on the south side of the Obidos Lagoon. It is a relatively quiet beach and has a couple of restaurants with excellent seafood and bars. On the north side is
Foz do Arelho, which is slightly bigger and livelier, with excellent beachside bars and a couple of good restaurants. The cliffs to the south are fantastic and the Atlantic waves can be impressive. The sandy beaches of the lagoon are very sheltered, with safe swimming for all ages, year round.
There is usually good surfing to be had off the sand bar. Fishing and kite surfing in the Lagoon are also excellent.
Praia del Rey and Bom Successo golf courses are just a short drive west at Obidos.
Twenty five minutes north is the lovely bay of Sao Martinho do Porto with lots of great fish restaurants and good sheltered swimming, whilst Nazare and Alcobaca are less than 50 minutes drive away and are also well worth a visit.
