The house is 5 minutes by car to the resort of Foz do Arelho and its extensive lagoon and ocean beaches. The spa town of Caldas da Rainha, an important regional centre with extensive shopping, daily fruit and vegetable market, banks, post office, medical facilities is 10 minutes by car
A further 10 minutes away is the historical gem, Obidos.
Lisbon is 1 hours drive and the number 1 golf course in Portugal, Praia D’El Rey, is a 30 minute drive.
