    Description

    This beautifully renovated property is seventy years old and set on a quiet road in the small village of Senhora Da Luz. It enjoys complete privacy, being totally enclosed behind a purpose built perimeter wall and electric front gate.

    The focal point of the property internally, is the main reception room, with its high ceiling, incorporating the original oak beams. It has two sofas, a brand new LCD TV with satellite connection, DVD player, CD player and a playstation.

    There is a large farmhouse kitchen, with a cooker, washing machine, microwave oven and fridge/freezer. There is also a converted wine press just off the main lounge area and has seating for up to ten people, with a table built around the original wine press itself. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a few drinks.

    The property has four bedrooms. Two with ensuite facilities and the other two share two additional bathrooms. The main bathroom has a bath, basin, shower, bidet and toilet. There is a second separate bathroom just off the farmhouse kitchen which has a toilet, basin and shower.

    There is ample parking at the front of the property for three cars. The large rear garden is lawned with a sun terrace leading out from the main kitchen via sliding patio doors. The sun terrace has a built in outside barbecue area. The private heated pool is situated next to the sun terrace. There is garden furniture available for use.

    Location

    The property is less than 10 minutes drive to the beautiful walled town of Obidos with its fantastic castle and Lagoon and the 3 renowned Golf courses of Praia d'el Rey, Bom Sucesso and Royal Obidos are all within 15 minutes drive. The child friendly beaches at Foz do Arelho and São Martinho are ten and fifteen minutes drive respectively.

    The renowned beaches of Portugal's Silver Coast, the resort and fishing port of Baleal and Peniche, are less than 20 minutes drive along the coast. They are famous for surfing and fish restaurants respectively. Obidos and Caldas Da Rainha are both a 15 minute drive away. The latter is a great place to wander with a good selection of shops, museums, parks, daily local markets, restaurants and bars.

    Lisbon is a 1 hours drive away, and Oporto only 3 hours away.
