Ten minutes away (12 km) is the market town of Caldas da Rainha with excellent facilities including hypermarkets, banks etcetera. Tennis, a boating lake, many museums and the thermal spa and royal palace. Twenty five minutes (20km) drive to the beach at Foz do Arelho, the mediaeval walled city of Obidos, the lagoon, and the shell shaped cove at Sao Martinho. The area is excellent for sightseeing, cycling, walking and windsurfing. The major new golf complex is nearby at the Praia del Rey.

The building is large and has been divided into two homes. The guest accomodation takes the whole of the upper story and has two private entrances, one of which is to steps leading down to the pool and gardens. Included in the guest accomodation is also a large self contained pool house. |
| Casa da Boa Vista is furnished to high standard with traditional carved Portuguese furniture. There is ample and spacious parking. The pool house: Comprises kitchen with fridge and cooker. Changing room. Lounge 4m x 8m with cane furniture and decorated with silk flowers. Patio doors leading to the pool terrace with six sun beds and large tiled table. |

Covered barbecue area:- Also with it's own sink, well lit with large tiles table and six chairs. Secluded and well screened gardens with citrus trees, hedges, and ample lawns. The pool house, barbecue and gardens are for the sole use of guests and are neither shared nor overlooked by the owners accomodation. |
